This ancient land is a sanctuary for some of Australia’s most precious species:

  • The endangered Hooded Plover nests undisturbed along untouched beaches
  • Majestic Cape Barren Geese grazing on open headlands
  • Playful Little Penguins darting through crystal-clear shallows
  • The regal Wedge-Tailed Eagle soaring above rugged cliffs
  • Elusive Bush Stone-Curlews, Tawny Frogmouths, Quails and the silent sweep of the Goshawk
